Pandora Papers

I had the opportunity to work with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, a nonprofit newsroom and network of journalists centered in Washington, D.C. on social strategy and post curation for the Pandora Papers. For the project, ICIJ obtained more than 11.9 million financial records, containing 2.94 terabytes of confidential information from 14 offshore service providers, enterprises that set up and manage shell companies and trusts in tax havens around the globe.

Above, you’ll see one of the Instagram galleries I created for the project’s launch.

It was followed by the below Instagram galleries explaining more details about the fallout from the investigation.

The social strategy plan also included several Twitter posts and threads. Here are a couple of the Twitter Moments threads created for the project (click through to read the full thread):

The Pandora Papers project was the largest-scale project I’ve ever worked on. I had a lot of fun learning a lot about offshore investing in a very short amount of time. Plus the team was amazing to work with. I love collaborating with newsrooms on projects like this. And I’m proud that I was able to have even a small role in such an important journalism project.
