POLITICO doesn’t get much sports coverage, so when I had the opportunity to run a large photo of RG3 I had to run with it. My mission? Find a “sad RG3” to go with the story about the team’s name controversy. I decided to reverse the headline and story on top of the dark background of the photo to keep the package contained. I think it really popped more than a large photo with a headline underneath would have.
